Originally developed as an effective replacement for steel fabricated spools used in the tire and rubber industry, the patented Duraspool® from Creative Techniques Inc. (Orion, MI) is quickly becoming the preferred plastic alternative for a wide range of assembly and material-handling applications.

Manufactured from high-impact engineered thermoplastic, the Duraspool has a modular design that smoothly interfaces with both rim and axle-driven assembly and handling machines. Available in a variety of sizes with hub diameters ranging from 4.2 in. to 29.62 in. and flange diameters from 15.75 in. to 65 in., the Duraspool can handle loads in excess of 500 lbs. and provide years of low-maintenance, economical service. Distance between flanges can be adjusted to meet custom applications.

Each Duraspool is designed to run true in assembly and material-handling equipment while being highly durable and damage-resistant. Duraspools are also operator-friendly and have no sharp edges that could injure personnel or damage products.
